How 3D Rendering Works: From Your Files to Final Images
The 3D rendering process at this studio has five steps: you send files, a fixed quote comes back within 12 hours, you pay, the first draft arrives from 48 hours, and two rounds of revisions lead to the final images. Every step happens online, in your customer account.

What are the steps of the 3D rendering process?
The 3D rendering process runs in five steps, from the files you send to the images you receive.
- 1
Send your files
Choose the service on the quote form, describe the views you need and attach the drawings, model or photographs. An account is made for you, where the order and its messages are kept.
- 2
Receive a fixed quote
The quote arrives within 12 hours of sending files. It lists each image and the price, and it does not change afterwards. Questions about the brief are asked in the order chat first.
- 3
Pay, and work starts
The order is paid in full, in US dollars, by card or bank transfer. Work starts when payment clears.
- 4
Review the first draft
The first draft arrives from 48 hours after the order, depending on the size of the job and the workload. You comment on it in the order chat.
- 5
Ask for changes and receive the finals
Two revision rounds are included. The final images are delivered in 4K, with print and web exports, no watermark and full commercial usage rights.
What do you need to send before work starts?
You need to send the drawings or model of what is to be rendered, and the materials it is finished in. The table lists what each kind of image needs. Each is one of the studio's 3D rendering services.
| Type of image | The studio needs | It helps to add |
|---|---|---|
| Interior view | Floor plan and ceiling heights, or the 3D model | Furniture and finishes schedule, reference photographs |
| Exterior view | Plans and elevations, or the 3D model | Material names, a photograph of the site |
| 3D floor plan | The floor plan as PDF or CAD | The finishes schedule, room names |
| Product image | A CAD file, or photographs with dimensions | Colour and material references |
| Virtual staging | A photograph of the empty room | The style the listing needs |
| Site plan | The site plan as DWG or PDF | The landscape plan, the labels you want |
When do you pay, and how much up front?
You pay the whole amount before work starts. The quote is fixed first, so the amount is known before you pay and does not change afterwards. There is no deposit and no balance to settle at the end.
When do you see the first draft, and how do you give feedback?
You see the first draft from 48 hours after the order. It is posted in your customer account, and you reply in the order chat with what should change: the camera, a material, the lighting, the furniture. Messages in the chat are answered in under an hour.
At what point do changes start to cost money?
Changes cost nothing within the two included revision rounds, which cover framing, materials, lighting and styling. Three things cost extra, and each is priced before it is done.
| The change | What it costs |
|---|---|
| A third revision round | 15% of the image price |
| A change to the design itself after the model is approved, such as a redesigned facade | Quoted separately |
| A further camera angle of the same scene | 40% less than the first view |
| Delivery in 24 hours or less | 40% on top of the quote |
What files do you receive, and who owns them?
You receive the final images in 4K with print and web exports, delivered through your account. You have full commercial usage rights to every image, with no watermark and no licence fee per use.
What slows a rendering order down?
Three things slow a rendering order down, and all three are in the brief.
- Missing dimensions. A plan without heights or a product without sizes has to be queried before it can be modelled.
- No material references. "Light oak" means ten different things. A product name or a photograph means one.
- A design that is still changing. A render of last week's elevation uses up a revision round on something that was never a render problem.
Questions about the 3D rendering process
You order a 3D rendering by sending your files through the quote form. A fixed quote comes back within 12 hours, you pay, and the first draft arrives from 48 hours after the order.
An order runs in five steps from files to final images, and the quote form is step one.
